Steps to Request Deletion

1. Send an email to workli.officialmail@gmail.com from your personal mailbox.
2. Subject line: "Workli Account Deletion Request".
3. In the body, state the phone number used to sign in to the app (in the format +972XXXXXXXXX).
4. We will verify ownership of the account within 48 hours, and contact you if further confirmation is needed.
5. Once verified, we will delete your account and its associated data within up to 30 business days.

What Data Will Be Deleted

• Account details: phone number, display name, city
• Provider profile: description, expertise, service areas, social links, photo gallery
• Customer profile: name, city, and phone number
• Job requests you posted and offers you sent
• Your conversations and messages with other users
• Reviews you wrote or that were written about you
• Profile photo and service photos you uploaded

What Data Is Retained (and Why)

In certain cases, the law and protection against abuse require retaining some data even after the account is deleted, for a limited period:

• Security logs and system logs — retained for up to 90 days for fraud detection and security analysis.
• Billing/accounting data — if financial transactions are carried out in the future, we will retain invoices and receipts as required by the Israel Tax Authority (seven years).
• Content reported by another user as a terms violation — retained until the report is resolved, and afterward for up to one year for documentation.

Deleting a Single Item Without Deleting the Account

You can also request partial deletion — for example, deleting a specific photo or a review you wrote — without closing your account. Send a request to the same email address detailing what you would like to delete.
